Hello from Great Outdoors. We hope all of you fared well through Hurricane Helene. In the aftermath of the storm there is much uncertainty about restoration of services and infrastructure in some areas of Western North Carolina. Our park and the Town of Franklin is doing well. If you currently have a reservation or would like to visit us, here are some things to know:
• Currently there is little to no cell service in the area, and many businesses that do not have WiFi are accepting cash transactions only.
• Starlink WiFi is operational in our park, so you will be able use streaming services, and make/receive WiFi phone calls and texts.
• We can process credit cards payments.
• The roads leading to Franklin from the South and West are clear. Please map your route accordingly.
