WHAT OUR GUESTS ARE SAYING
The area is gorgeous. If you like rocks and crystals definitely go to this area and check out Cherokee Ruby Mine in Franklin. There is a huge grocery store just a few miles up the road and some restaurants.
We have stayed at this park several times in the past and loved it. Everything is squeaky clean and well maintained. We observed a couple of things on this trip. The road noise from the main highway going through the area is excessive and takes away from the peacefulness of the park. The Cable Television service to the RV sites is the worst I have experienced. Although the brochure provided at check in lists many TV stations, most of the stations were of very poor quality. We could not receive any of the main network television stations. Some stations had no audio. Additionally, they say "no streaming" on their internet although they are not providing useable cable TV.
Very disappointing that at resort like this does not have a decent internet system or cable television system. I reported the problems with the cable TV but the staff seemed disinterested. They really need to fix their technology-based systems. Also, there is a nice pool, but it is not heated. Few people will want to get in 74-degree water.
