PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICIES
Payment Policy
- Nightly and weekly reservations require non-refundable payment in full.
- Monthly reservations require non-refundable payment in full for the first month of stay.
- All reservations must be secured with a credit card.
- We are a cashless business except for our laundry facilities. Please plan accordingly.
Cancellation Policies - *No Refunds
Daily/Weekly RV Site and Cabin Reservations
- Cancel anytime up to 1:00 pm on the day of arrival!
- *Gift certificates will be issued in the amount of the original payment less the non-refundable reservation fee.
All cancellations or changes must be in writing from the original requestor’s email to [email protected]. The subject must include Cancel or Change so that it is routed correctly. Phone calls, voicemails or texts will not be accepted.
Monthly Reservations
- Monthly reservations are non-refundable. No gift certificates will be issued.
- We recommend changing your dates of stay if we have availability.

Group Reservations
- Group reservations are non-refundable. No gift certificates will be issued.

No Shows
- No shows will result in forfeiture of the entire reservation amount.
- No gift certificate will be issued.
Gift Certificates
Gift certificates are valid for one (1) year from the date of issue and are only good towards a future RV site or lodging reservation. Our automated system will send a cancellation confirmation as soon as it is processed. You will receive a second email with the gift certificate. If you do not receive a cancellation confirmation or gift certificate, please call 828-349-0412.
Reservations Not Eligible for Gift Certificates:
- Reservations made within 24 hours of check-in.
- Reservations made with gift certificates are non-refundable and non-transferable. Cancellations for reservations made with a gift certificate will result in the forfeiture of all funds.
- Monthly reservations.
Additional Information
Unapplied Discounts: No gift certificates or credit will be issued for unapplied discounts once a reservation has been paid in full.
COVID / Illness: Cancellations follow our normal cancellation policy.
During Your Stay: All purchases, including extra nights, store items, firewood and propane will be charged to the credit card on file.
Laundry: Our laundry machines accept exact change. There is a change machine in the laundry room available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The Great Outdoors RV Resort reserves the right to change our rules, rates, and policies without notice.
By booking a reservation at The Great Outdoors RV Resort, you acknowledge that there are No Refunds for any reason and that in lieu of a security deposit, we may charge the credit card on file for incidentals and damages incurred during your stay.
